In any case, Bellingham Days was successful, with Hurricane--or rather Tropical Storm--Henry politely holding off until the next day (and then fizzling out). A good amount of money was generated (10% of the gross sales from the event) for town causes, so it was a success on a couple of levels.
Bellingham Days (Aug. 19-21) had much more of a ‘hometown’ feel to the weekend as opposed to the somewhat overwhelming July 4th crowds. Tentative plans are to make it an annual event. Read More »
