An Easy Walk means not too many roots or rocks, relatively level with firm footing and something of interest along the way. This program is presented by Marjorie Turner Hollman, Bellingham resident and author of four Easy Walks in Massachusetts guides. The guides cover walks in 53 contiguous towns in Massachusetts, including Bellingham and surrounding towns. Marjorie created this series of guides as a resource for those with mobility and other challenges. The most recent book, Easy Walks South of Boston, is a collaboration with Marilyn and Dave Dore of Stoughton. Dave is legally blind. His wife, Marilyn, hikes with him and provides support, so he can get out and enjoy the trails as much as she does. Registration is preferred but not necessary!
