Come December 9th to a Country Christmas Fair

The elves are hard at work at the North Pole...that’s a given. But did you know the elves are also going at full throttle in the St. Blaise Parish Hall and the homes of many of the crafters in Bellingham? They are working on beautiful handmade gifts such as afghans, soaps, Christmas decorations, religious items, Christmas gift baskets, jewelry, etc. Any and all of these will be displayed in the Country Store for purchase during the St. Blaise Christmas Country Fair, December 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  There will also be food items for sale, like homemade spiced cracker mix, soup in a jar (just add meat and water), spice packets to make your own mulled cider or wine at home or Reindeer Chow, at the country store. The kids (of any age) can buy penny candy, actually priced at a penny and individually selected or already filled bag for 50 cents. There will be other handmade items for purchase, like key rings, bookmarks, tissue holders, bible covers, at the Craft table too.

The fragrance of a crockpot of hot mulled cider will greet you as you arrive and is available for purchase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with lunch choices like hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, dynamites, and other favorite foods and drinks. A variety of breads, muffins, cookies, cakes, and pies from the St. Blaise Sweet Shoppe will be ready to enjoy as dessert at the Fair or packaged to take as gifts.

There will be old favorites and new kids’ games with prizes displayed with each game in a Kids Zone. The main raffle table, lottery ticket raffle, and the adults’ Card Game will also make their return.

Santa and Mrs. Claus confirmed their visit to Bellingham! All who are at the Fair can make their Christmas gift requests to him from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and also take a picture with them!

Please mark your calendar for the St. Blaise Country Christmas Fair! We’re waiting to welcome you and enjoy good food and Christmas cheer with family, friends and neighbors.
