Memory Training: 4-week program developed by the UCLA Longevity Center in Los Angeles, will begin on Friday, October 13, 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the Bellingham Library.

60th Birthday Party: On Thursday, October 5 at 6 p.m., folks in Bellingham who turned 60 this year are invited to a free cookout dinner at the Senior Center. Come and learn about programs, services, and homeowner tax breaks. You and a guest are invited. For more information, please email [email protected] 

Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Join the Bellingham Senior Center team at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, October 15, at 10 a.m., on this walk to raise funds. Contact Terri Graham for more information - (508) 657-2710. 

SHINE: Open enrollment for Medicare starts October 15th and runs through December 7th. If your insurance needs have changed or you have
questions about your plan, set up an appointment with Judy Higgins, SHINE volunteer at (508) 966-0398. Appointments are available Wednesdays starting at 9 a.m.

“The Elderly Brothers” Concert: Long-time popular solo artists, T-Bone Stankus and Brian Gillie have teamed up as the Elderly Brothers, serving up mint-condition “oldies.” Monday, October 23, at 1 p.m. Please call ahead.

Learn Quilling: Join Celeste Langlois as she demonstrates the craft of Quilling. We will be using our paper strips to create a work of art! Class is free and provided through a grant from the Bellingham Cultural Council. Tuesday, October 17, at 1 p.m. Registration is required so please call the Senior Center to sign up. Space is limited.

Tales of First Ladies: Come learn about some of the amazing women who played an important role in our great country as First Ladies. 

Popular-presenter Paul Arsenault will have stories, facts and anecdotal in-formation that will leave you begging for more. Monday, October 16, at 11 a.m. Please call ahead.

Rainbow Jeopardy: Host: Julie Nowak, LGBTQIA+ Initiative Coordinator for Springwell. Thursday, October 12, at 2:30 p.m. Please call ahead to reserve your space.

Halloween/Birthday Party: We’ll celebrate both on Thursday, October 26. B-day or not, come in costume! And please call the Senior Center to reserve your spot.

Fashion Show: Shadia Khoury Velez owner and founder of Ve’Lace Bridal in Bellingham will present a runway show showcasing the latest styles in bridal fashion including wedding gowns, mother of the bride/groom gowns, and brides-maid dresses.
