BHS XC Team Bringing Home Medals

The Bellingham High School Cross Country team has been off to a strong start this season, winning their first meet at home against Douglas and finishing the regular season with a win against Dedham for both the boys’ and girls’ team. In addition to regular season meetings, numerous members of the team have received medals at invitational meets.

 

On Saturday September 24th, the team traveled to Rhode Island to the Ocean State Invitational. For the girls, Elizabeth Raigan came in 1st, Emma Smith 2nd, and Captain Casey Hasslebaum 12th in their heat. Jenna Dormady came in 13th and Caleigh Hayes came in 14th in their heat. For the boys, Captain Colin Thibeault finished 19th in his heat. 
Emma Smith also competed in the Twilight Invitational on Saturday October 15th and came in 3rd in her heat. 
The team is off to the Coach’s Invitational on November 5th at the Wrentham Development Center, and State Divisional Meet on November 12th at Gardner Golf Course.
