Jun 29, 2016 02:45PM ● By Pamela Johnson
Bellingham’s annual Independence Day Celebration will once again be held on July 4, beginning with a concert at 5:30 pm by Matt Zajac. Matt was recently awarded the Highest Honor at this years Local Music Awards in May 2016, winning the coveted Headliner Award. The Peacheaters, an Allman Brothers tribute experience, will follow at 7 pm. The versatile, high-energy Pieces of Eight will follow the Peacheaters and take the show right up to the 9:30 Fireworks. Fireworks provided by Rhode Island Pyro Technics will start at 9:30 pm sharp.

The event takes place at Bellingham Memorial Middle School, located at the corner of So. Main Street/Rte. 126 and Blackstone St. Free parking is available but fills up fast, so plan to arrive early.

Bring your appetite! Concessions will be available from local youth groups. (No outside vendors will be allowed on town property.)
