Time for You Yoga, is hosting a special three hour yoga workshop: Build Your Balance on Monday, August 8 from 1 - 4 pm. This program is held at the studio at 2155 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. Exploring balance poses can be exhilarating and fun. In this Svaroopa® yoga class you learn to create strength and balance without effort with the pose Natarjasana, stork. Practice a series of reliable poses that decompress deep tensions along your spine. Learn to use your legs and abdominals effectively as you stand and balance. Take aways may include feeling stronger in your legs, more centered, and uplifted. Svaroopa® yoga offers you the opportunity to stand with a more open spine, leaning into your bones. Poses such as stork help you use your leg muscles and abdominals and find your balance point inside. The program is offered by Maria Sichel, a Certified Svaroopa® yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Maria has over 17 years of experience guiding students with a down to earth, caring, fun and practical approach. The workshop is open to yoga students of all levels.
