Time for You Yoga, is hosting a special three hour yoga workshop: Yoga to “GO” - Walking Lessons on Friday, June 3 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. This program is held at the studio at 2155 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. Walking with awareness can be exhilarating and fun. In this Svaroopa® yoga class you explore how walking is a series of yoga poses strung together. Practice ways to bring yoga with you as you move. Learn to use your legs and abdominals effectively as you walk. Take aways include a spring in your step, a sway in your hips, and a lighter attitude. Svaroopa® yoga offers you the opportunity to stand with a more open spine, leaning into your bones. Poses such as Warrior help you use your leg muscles and abdominals and find ease as you take your yoga “to go!” The program is offered by Maria Sichel, a Certified Svaroopa® yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Maria has over 17 years of experience guiding students with a down to earth, caring, fun and practical approach. The workshop is open to yoga students of all levels. Space is limited and pre - registration is required. Cost is $50 if paid by 5/27 or $55 thereafter. Please contact the studio to reserve your spot. Time for You Yoga specializes in Svaroopa® yoga.
