From the Town Clerk: September is Here!

Massachusetts State Primary

The State Primary is taking place in the Bellingham High School gymnasium on Tuesday, September 6th. Early Voting for this election at the Municipal Center ends on Friday, September 2nd. The last day/time to vote in the Town Clerk’s office is Monday, September 5th at noon. The deadline has passed for vote-by-mail ballots; however, absentee applications may be obtained up until September 5th. Both Vote-by-Mail and Absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than midnight on September 6, and, received by close of business on September 9th in order to be counted.

This State Primary is being held to choose candidate from the Democrat and Republican parties for the following offices: Representative in Congress, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Auditor, Governor’s Council, State Senator, State Representative, District Attorney, Sheriff, County Commissioner. Unenrolled (no party affiliation) may choose a ballot from either one of the major parties.

Happy 25th Anniversary to the Bellingham Town Common!

The Trustees of the Bellingham Town Common will be hosting a celebration commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Town Common in its current location. Please join us from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on September 10th (rain date September 17th). Entertainment will be provided by Bellingham’s own “Two of a Kind Crooners”, Robert and Joseph Oliver. There will be pony rides, pizza, cake, soda, and snacks. Bring a beach chair or blanket and come and enjoy!
