Local Spots to Splash Into this Summer

Silver Lake Park (Bellingham)

The Park is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. or dark, whichever comes first. A parking pass is required and can be obtained online at the town website (bellinghamma.org). The 2022 parking pass rates are as follows: Day Pass: $7, Residential Season Pass: $10, and Non- Residential Season Pass: $60. The gate to the park is locked nightly and on July 4th, the Gate will be locked at 4 p.m. The park has a splash pad open daily from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. Lifeguards are on duty from late June through Labor Day. When there is no lifeguard on duty, swimming is at one’s own risk. Portable restrooms are available on site from June-August. There are no open flame beach fires for cooking allowed, no alcohol, no dogs, and no smoking. Fishing and boating are permitted with restrictions. Casey Pool (Milford)

The Casey Memorial Swimming Pool opened for the season on June 25th and will be open
daily from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. There is a designated parking area on site. On site facilities
include showers, restrooms, and lockers. There is a lifeguard on duty at all times. Swim
lessons are available and there is an outdoor swimming pool lift available for accessibility
needs. Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited. For the full list of rules and regulations,

Arcand Park (Bellingham)

Many program and membership options are offered at our local YMCA branch. The Bernon Family Branch has both an indoor pool and an outside pool that opens for the season on June 18th. There are many different memberships available depending on age and household size. For information on registration fees and monthly rates, please contact the YMCA at the number listed above.
