Who could resist this face?

Milford Federal Bank got involved in some matchmaking recently.  They held a puppy adoption event at their 246 Main Street, Milford, location on Saturday, August 21. Pawfect Life Rescue of Uxbridge was on hand with loveable puppies available for adoption, and in need of "fur-ever" homes! The bank also donated a gift card to a local pet store to each family who adopted at the event.

Pawfect Life Rescue, Inc. (www.pawfectliferescue.org) is a Massachusetts-based 501(C)3 non-profit shelterless dog rescue. It is a dedicated network of men & women whose mission is to rescue stray dogs and place them in responsible loving homes. It is a family friendly rescue and the members work to educate the community on the importance of proper pet care. They define success as the ability to effectively enhance the quality of the lives we touch!

Pawfect Life Rescue (PLR) rescues homeless and unwanted dogs locally as well as from rural southern towns and high-kill shelters. All dogs are fully vetted, transported, and isolated. Adoption applications are thoroughly reviewed and each family who applies undergoes a complete in-depth screening. This includes email and/or phone correspondence followed by an in-person meeting, a veterinary reference check, and personal reference checks. A home visit may also be conducted if deemed necessary. PLR works to match the best individual/family with each dog to ensure it's a good fit for both the individual and their new furry friend.

Upon adoption, an adoption donation is received and an adoption contract is signed by the rescue & the adoptive family. All monies collected go back into the rescue to pay for the care of its dogs.
