In the May 2021 Print Edition

Check out the latest issue of the Bellingham Bulletin--May 2021--for the best in hometown news, including info from town & school officials, schools, seniors and more!

We have info on the Memorial Day program (which is never held on Memorial Day, by the way, but on the weekend before), and a report on the school committee's proposed budget.

We also have Ken Hamwey's extensive article on the Bellingham Blackhawks football team becoming the 2021 Tri Valley Small Division Champions. Congrats on the win and their 5-0 season!

And let's not forget: Happy Mother's Day!  We've got some great Mother's Day gift ideas and specials from our local advertisers--remember buying local is the best way to buying!  We always encourage people to shop locally, especially with our advertisers, because small businesses (including the Bulletin) contribute extensively to the well-being of a community, whether it's in the form of donations to important causes, or via the employees who spend money locally.

Without sufficient advertisers, we’d either have to start charging a subscription fee (and lose more advertisers because we could no longer offer 100% saturation), or stop mailing the paper directly to every home and business, and resort solely to distribution locations where you could pick up the Bulletin--but isn't it so much more convenient to just carry it from your mailbox into your house with the rest of your mail?

Of course, the best way to help us to retain advertisers is to patronize these businesses as often as possible; even if you don't end up buying anything, please let them know that you saw their ad in the Bellingham Bulletin.  You could also ask businesses that do not already advertise with us why you haven't seen their ad in the paper--every referral helps.

Below are just a few highlights from the May issue.  (To view the PDF file of the May issue in its entirety, scroll past the highlights and click on the small broken box near the small version of the newspaper. Press "Esc" to exit.)
