Southwick’s Zoo Postpones its “World of Lights: Festival of Illumination”

Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts, announces the postponement of the “World of Lights: Festival of Illumination.” This much-anticipated event featuring handcrafted lantern displays was previously scheduled to begin at the end of September 2020; however, it has been postponed until 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In place of “World of Lights,” Southwick’s Zoo will host their popular Winter Wonderland from November 27th to January 3rd. This will be the third year that Southwick’s hosts this popular Christmas and winter-themed attraction. This year’s Winter Wonderland will offer the opportunity for guests to enjoy dazzling holiday lights as a drive-through experience on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, or as a walk-through on Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to lights and displays, guests can expect additional holiday festivities.

Southwick’s Zoo will remain open as a walk-through and drive-through for their 2020 zoo season until October 31st. For news and information, visit www.southwickszoo.com.
