In the June 2017 Print Edition

May 31, 2017 07:00AM ● By Pamela Johnson
Well, you'd never know it based on recent weather, but summer is actually just around the corner; June 21 marks the summer solstice. I'm waiting for nicer weather--I rely on summer to "recharge my batteries" in a sense, and I dread the thought of another "summer that never was," as we had a few years ago. June 18 is Father's Day, so Happy Father's Day to all of the dads reading this.

I would be remiss if I did not encourage you to support local businesses, in particular those who advertise in the Bellingham Bulletin; as a non-subscription paper, those are the only operating funds we receive. Even if you don’t end up buying anything, please let them know you saw their ad in the Bulletin.  Also, if you haven’t done so already, please “like” our Facebook page for updates (you can do that right here in the Facebook widget, right).

The June issue is, as usual, packed with useful information for those who are living in and raising families in Bellingham, or those who used to live here and simply want to stay connected.  Below are some highlights from the print edition. To view a PDF file of the June issue in its entirety, click in the center of the newspaper icon below.  (When you're done, press "Esc" to exit.)
Thanks!
