Volunteers Sought for Earth Day Cleanup

Apr 15, 2016 11:30AM ● By Pamela Johnson
The Charles River Watershed Association, in conjunction with the Bellingham Conservation Commission, is looking for volunteers for the 17th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup.  This event will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 9am until 12pm.  Based on the number of volunteers received, groups will spread out along the Charles River Watershed in Bellingham to perform a much needed cleanup of this valuable resource.  Gloves and trash bags will be provided.  Please contact Mike Roche at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering.  Please provide your name, phone number and age.  If we receive enough volunteers, we will also be looking for adults that may be willing to be a leader at one of the sites.  Leaders will be responsible for supervision of our younger volunteers.  If you are willing to be a leader, please let us know.
