Edwards Signs Letter of Commitment with Virginia Tech

Bellingham High senior Sarah Edwards signed her letter of commitment to attend Virginia Tech on a track and field scholarship on Nov. 12 at the high school. Edwards, who is No. 2 in her class, is a four-time Tri Valley League MVP (twice in cross country and one each in indoor and outdoor track). The 17-year-old scholar-athlete will major in interior design/architecture. "Virginia Tech was the best choice because of its academic program, excellence in track and the scholarship,'' Edwards said.
