Taste of Bellingham Is the Bellingham Business Association's Premier Event

An overview of the 7th annual Taste of Bellingham, held this year at the offices of J. Brian Day

The Taste of Bellingham is the Bellingham Business Association’s (BBA’s) most attended meeting of the  year. This year, rather than being held in the Library’s community room, the event was held in the showroom of J. Brian Day on Maple Street, and attendance was off the charts.

Cathy DiPilato of J. Brian Day offered the BBA the use of their facility. This provided more space than the library, so more vendors were invited to participate. The “Taste” provides members an opportunity to experience what’s available in local cuisine and restaurants and a venue in which to showcase their culinary specialties to the business community, everyone  networking at the same time. (Please see photo gallery below. We apologize in advance if we missed any restaurant or beverage provider who was present at the event--it was pretty hectic.)

“I  think we really brought this event to new heights,” BBA President John Orthman reflected. “Sherri [Kauker], your organization of the event was outstanding… Lynn [Scornavacca of Silver Lake Productions] and Joe [DeWolfe of The Musicutter], your talents helped memorialize the night and made people feel more of an integral part of the event. It also added tons of additional exposure to our vendors that will hopefully be seen for weeks to come on our website, in The Bellingham Bulletin, and on "Strictly Business" [the BBA’s monthly cable show produced by Scornavacca]. “We’d like to express our thanks to J. Brian Day for having us, and Cathy DiPilato, whose efforts helped to make this event such a success.”

The BBA will hold its annual Holiday Party on Dec. 10 at Coachmen’s Lodge. For more information, email [email protected].
