Milford Regional Offers Hand Reflexology Workshop on Nov. 6

Hand reflexology is a natural, non-invasive therapy that supports the body’s ability to restore and maintain homeostasis. Individuals will learn to work on themselves and others as a way to help reduce stress and to help alleviate symptoms associated with common ailments. In this self-help workshop the attendee will learn the basics of hand reflexology.  Facilitated by Marilyn Alling (who does hand and foot reflexology for cancer patients at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center at Milford) our next Hand Reflexology Workshop will be held on Thursday, November 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Conference Room C, located on the ground floor of the main building at Milford Regional Medical Center.  The cost is $40.  For more information and to register, visit www.milfordregional.org.  

Milford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Meetings Slated for Nov. 11

There will be two meetings of the Milford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary on Tuesday, November 11, in order to make it convenient for working members to participate.  The morning meeting is scheduled for 9:30 AM in the MRMC Conference Room A. The evening meeting will be held at 6:30 PM in the Volunteer office located off the Main Lobby.  The public is welcome; men and women are encouraged to consider joining this successful organization.  The Auxiliary conducts many fundraisers throughout the year which provide support to MRMC departments having special needs. Milford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary to Hold Membership Drive Meeting

In its search for men and women to join the organization, the Auxiliary will hold a membership meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 5 – 8 PM, at Atria Draper Place, 25 Hopedale Street, Hopedale.  Speakers will include MRMC Leadership and Auxiliary President, Andra Stone.
 
The Milford Regional Medical Center supports 24 area towns. Learn how the Auxiliary supports the MRMC:  the history, accomplishments and future events. There will be a video of the Medical Center’s exciting new building project. There are currently 72 men and women members.  Many will be present to answer all of your questions. The Auxiliary conducts many fundraisers throughout the year which provide support to MRMC departments. Milford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Fundraiser slated for Nov. 25

On Tuesday, November 25, from 7 AM to 4 PM, "Books Are Fun" by Kathy Doane will be in the MRMC Cafeteria. Included will be books for adults and children, including gardening, cookbooks and self-help topics; stationery and CDs will also be sold. A portion of the sales goes to the Milford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, which is currently contributing to the expansion of the Medical Center.
