Outback Steakhouse staff members and "Roo,'' the restaurant's mascot, served lots of burgers and steak tips at the sixth annual Harvestfest, hosted by the Bellingham's First Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Church on September 22. The event, which was held on the Town Common, brought local businesses and families together for a day of fun and relaxation. All children’s games and activities were free and all food and dessert samples provided by businesses also were free. Children’s activities included a petting zoo, arts and crafts, a bouncy house and a children’s obstacle course. A gymnastics demonstration and a  music concert concluded the day's activities.
