Bellingham Senior Center

Bellingham’s Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is set for Saturday, June 3, 9 am—1 pm at the Bellingham Senior Center, 40 Blackstone St. All Bellingham residents are welcome at no charge; however, proof of residency is required. This is a chance to get rid of unwanted cleaning supplies, waste oil or other household chemicals or motor vehicle fluids around the house.

Please note the Bellingham Recycling Center is located on South Maple St. and is open Saturday and Sunday, and, since tires, car batteries and propane tanks may be dropped off there at no charge, these items will not be accepted at the June 3rd waste collection event. Additionally, latex-based paint is not a hazardous waste and will not be accepted at the Collection event. (Latex paint cans should be dried out and placed with your curbside collection waste.)
