Lions Membership Nite Slated for May 4 at N.E.Country Club's Egan's Pub

The BELLINGHAM LIONS CLUB invites you to its Membership Night at Egan’s Pub at New England Country Club, 180 Paine St. Bellingham, on May 4, 6-8 PM, to learn about joining the Club, and enjoy some appetizers while you are there. The motto of the Lion’s Club is “We Serve.” Lions Club International is the largest service organization in the world with members in more than 200 countries. We serve our Bellingham community in the following ways:
  • White Cane drive – all proceeds fund cutting-edge research for the prevention and cure of eye-related diseases.
  • Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament- supports two $1500 scholarships for high school seniors pursuing higher education.
  • Santa Project – Santa and his sleigh ride through the neighborhoods of Bellingham greeting children and families.
  • Senior luncheon - a luncheon honoring the senior citizens of our community.
  • Arbor Day – each Bellingham 4th grade student is given a sapling to plant in honor of Arbor Day.
  • Bellingham Lions sponsor sports teams and scout troops in Bellingham.
  • Helping families in need anonymously
  • Boxing food for hunger
