In the January 2016 Print Edition

Dec 31, 2015 06:00AM ● By Pamela Johnson
Greetings!
It’s the beginning of a brand new year, and we at the Bellingham Bulletin would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our readers a healthy, prosperous and happy year in 2016.

We all knew that New England winter wouldn't hold off forever. Looks like it's here to stay--at least for the next couple of month, anyway.  In an effort to embrace what used to be my least favorite season, I took up cross-country skiing.  "Embrace it," is, I guess, the suggestion I heard so many times that I finally took it. And adopting a cold-weather sport did help--I don't hate winter quite so much--as long as there is just enough snow to ski on.

As always, we have compiled news, interesting stories for you to read, press releases you probably should make note of, and, as always, a calendar of events for January 2016.

Below are some highlights from the January issue. (To view the PDF of the January 2016 print edition in its entirety, scroll to the bottom of the highlights and click on the newspaper icon.)
