Annual Pumpkin Stroll Explodes with Activity

So often a great deal of effort and planning goes into an event only to have it ruined by forces beyond anyone's control--usually the weather.  But the stars must have been aligned just right on October 25th, because the weather was just perfect--a sunny day leading into a very mild dusk and evening, most importantly not a drop of rain.  Attendance was record-breaking at Bellingham's annual Pumpkin Stroll, and more businesses participated than in previous years by setting up tables from which to distributed candy and small toys.

Also new this year, the businesses in The Plaza at Bellingham Commons, located at 15 N. Main St. directly across the street from the town common, held their own festivities featuring a scavenger hunt and trick-or-treating.

Earlier in the day, Northeastern Tae Kwon Do Academy, also in The Plaza, held a Halloween Safety class followed by a Halloween Party.
