Milford Regional Offers New Wellness Programs

Milford Regional is adding to its wellness programs with two new programs starting soon. 

Kickboxing is a cardio, non-contact workout where participants totally unleashed.  This 60-minute, energetic class is inspired by boxing and some martial arts moves. The class is supported by driving music where participants you will strike, punch and kick their way to superior cardio fitness.  The 10-week session starts on September 25 and will meet on Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Ruth Anne Bleakney Senior Center (formerly known as The Milford Senior Center.)

Mommy and Baby Yoga is designed for new mothers and infants (8 weeks to almost walking.) and offers time for moms to stretch, bond and breathe with their babies.  This is a well–rounded class that incorporates breath work, strengthening and relaxation. Each class will devote time to gentle, hands-on yoga and bonding postures with babies. The 10-week session starts on September 26 and will meet on Fridays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Milford Regional at Whitinsville (formerly known as the Whitinsville Medical Center.)
